The past few weeks have been absolute, total hell. Blogging has not been an option. I killed the hard drive on my brand new ‘puter and the power cord to my iPhone died the day after. The electrical chaos in my brain is apparently much worse than I thought. It’s shorting out my technology.

Or something like that.

I’m on the tail-end of expelling the nastiness that is Effexor, so I hope to be able to string more than a handful coherent sentences together soon. My energy is better, but as I sat down to work on some of the fabulous posts I’ve planned to write, my brain damn near melted. I thought I was ready, but alas, it is not to be. I have a book review and a contest coming soon, so stay tuned for those, as soon as I get my shit back together. Here’s a video of Tater eating a chicken sammich:

That’s all for today…

You hang in there girlfriend. We can compare notes on hell sometime soon. Just be good to yourself.

Bless your heart. I hope it gets better for you. As the kick-ass Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.”

And, in the words of the very wise Wilbur Robinson (from “Meet the Robinsons”) “Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things…and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

      Quotes of the century. :-)

    Ain’t that the truth…keep moving :)
I’ve often suspected that the neural interference could/does effect external stuff – thanks for the confirmation. Hang in there – hope everything gets better VERY soon.
    Gentle (((hugs)))

I wish somebody would do a study on that! I mean, it IS electric current. I don’t know enough about bioelectricity or electricity in general to say anything intelligent about it, but I do know that my phones (a couple of them) went wonky when I was pursuing my biochemistry degree. Coincidence??? Hmmm…I’m putting that on my research list.

What could you do to remove this attachment which you feel towards technology?

I’m more attached to learning than to technology itself. If all the technology went away, you’d find me at a very big library or bookstore. I know this because before I had access to the Internet, that’s what I did. As a matter of fact, I worked at a bookstore for 4 years the first time I was in college. You can still find me hanging out at the bookstore for hours and hours when I feel well. I just love to learn new things. It’s part of who I am. :-)

me too! I inhale several books a week. If not for my Kindle and Amazon, I’d still have to drag my sorry ass to the bookstore, hum and haw over what to buy first and then return hours later having spent way more than I planned on. :D

I don’t like the library for one reason. You have to give the books BACK.

Tater is adorable!!! Of course, you knew this already :D

As for the other stuff, no worries. There is no law of blogging that states you must blog x many times a week/month/year. No blogger police will come for you over blog truancy! lol

Besides, you could just claim you also suffer from “CRS” (can’t remember sh*t). OR, perhaps as my hubby tells me, you also have a memory like a sucked egg? lol *shaking head* ah well, without humor I’d be kicking small animals to vent my frustration. Scratch that, I wouldn’t be able to catch one in the first place haha

Love your blog! I will be baaaaack (Arnold voice) :D
